Nourishing the Body and Soul with Sanctified Food

Our Community Kitchen (Annamrita) is dedicated to the principle of 'Food for Life,' serving pure, vegetarian sanctified food (Prasadam) to everyone in need.

Community Kitchen

At ISKCON Asansol, we believe that no one should go hungry. Our Community Kitchen, inspired by the global 'Food for Life' initiative, serves hundreds of hot, nutritious, and sanctified meals every week to the local community.

Why Prasadam?

Prasadam means 'mercy.' It is food that has been prepared with devotion and first offered to the Lord. It is believed to not only nourish the body but also cleanse the heart and bring spiritual peace to the mind.
